Colorín Colorado is a bilingual website that provides free research-based information, activities, and advice to parents, schools, and communities.
Epic!
Purchase a monthly subscription for up to 4 children to use at home or on the go! Students can listen to books, read books, watch videos, and answer quiz questions. Books are available in both English and Spanish!
Starfall
Starfall is a great website for students in Preschool - 3rd grade. Students have fun while practicing both reading and math. The website is interactive as students can play games, watch educational videos, read books and listen to books online or through the starfall app. This is a FREE website, but there is an option to purchase a membership for expanded content.
Raz-Kids
Raz-kids is an award-winning K-5 online website that provides students access to interactive books online that are at their own reading level. Students can listen to the book being read to them, read the book on their own, and record themselves reading the book aloud to practice fluency. Students at HOFER have a subscription to Raz-Kids through our school. If your child forgot his/her password, contact the classroom teacher for your child's password.
Google Translate
A free service from google that instantly translates words, phrases, and web pages between English and over 100 other languages! Simply type what you want to translate in the box on the left, and google will translate what you type into the language you choose into the box on the right.
Duolingo
This free website helps students and adults learn a new language through interactive games and activities. Develop your reading, writing, listening, and speaking of a new language at home, or on the go through the app. There are 33 languages from which to choose!

Learning Chocolate is a website designed to help you memorize English, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), German or Spanish vocabulary in an easy, fun way that really works. All the exercises use pictures, sounds, and games to make learning a new language fun. Try to visit the site every day...repetition is key!
